Mid-term Management Plan

New TGL Plan

2006/2007/2008 First three years of the New TGL Plan: Increase the profitability of management and business structures. 2009/2010/2011 Second three years of the New TGL Plan: Attain good results and realize the "two TGLs".

NISSUI's mid-term management plan from the perspective of the "100th anniversary" and "next 100 years"

The global environment of food continues changing at a very fast pace. The curtailment of resources, strengthened regulations, global-scale reorganization of retailers and producers by big capital, changing customer values affected by their growing awareness of food safety and health.... To quickly respond to these changes in the business environment expected in the future, especially those in the field of creating customer-oriented value from marine resources, and to take a steady step toward the next stage of growth, we launched the "New TGL Plan" in 2006, a new mid-term management plan. "TGL" means "True Global Links" and "True Global Leader." "True Global Links" denote the creation of the greatest synergy by joining hands with partners worldwide more broadly and more efficiently in the area of creating customer-oriented value from marine resources. "True Global Leader" refers to the intent to become a global leader in the fishery business with advanced technology and through a large sales network by concentrating on and strengthening a producer-type business structure. In an effort to attain these goals, the new plan will reform the business structure of the NISSUI Group into a more profitable one according to the "basic management policy," which inherits "NISSUI's genes." More specifically, we will pursue the "main strategies" aiming at developing the greatest global supply chain of marine products. In 2011, NISSUI will celebrate its centennial. The new TGL plan is a mid-term management plan for the "200 years of NISSUI" that marks the completion of "plans for the first 100 years" and establishes a "firm basis for the next 100 years."The global environment of food continues changing at a very fast pace.
