Organizational Restructuring, Change of Board Members, Changes in Responsibilities of Board Members, and Assignment of General Managers

Please be informed that Nippon Suisan Kaisha, Ltd. (President and CEO: Naoya Kakizoe) will be restructuring organization, changing the responsibilities of its Board Members and appointing Board Members and General Managers as in dicated below.

1. Organizational Restructuring (as of June 26)

I. Segregation of Duties and Change of Titles

  • The title of "COO (Seafood Business)" will be changed to "COO of Seafood Business" and joint responsibility for any duties outside of the Seafood Business will be abolished.
  • The title of "COO (Processed Food Business)" will be changed to "COO of Processed Food Business" and joint responsibility for any duties o utside of the Processed Food Business will be abolished.

II. Change of Business Division Name

  • The "Fine Chemicals Department" will be renamed the "Fine Chemicals Operations Department" in order to reinforce Fine Chemicals Business (manufacturing, sales and development).

III. Abolishment

  • The position of "COO (FFC Business)" will be abolished. *FFC is an abbreviation of Fine Chemicals, Fine Foods and Chilled Foods.
