Executive Appointments and Change in Officers’ Duties

Please be informed that Nippon Suisan Kaisha, Ltd. (Naoya Kakizoe, President & CEO) has made its recommendations for executive appointments and a change in Officer’s Duty as follows.

The recommended appointments are subject to the approval of the Company’s General Shareholders’ meeting to be held on June 29, 2004 and to the approval of the Board of Directors Meeting to be held on the same day.
