
Guided by the mission to create "a healthier, more sustainable future through innovative food solutions," Nissui continues to evolve every day.
In April 2022, we formulated our long-term vision, "GOOD FOODS 2030," under which we promote management activities aimed at enhancing corporate value. This vision outlines four key values of value creation—Environmental Value, Social Value, Value in Human Capital, and Financial Value—and positions two strategic pillars at its core: strengthening the business portfolio and deepening sustainability management.
In terms of financial value, our goals for FY2030 are net sales of over 1 trillion yen, operating profit of over 50 billion yen, and a 50% international net sales ratio—toward building "capital strength to compete on the world stage."
To advance this vision, we launched our new Medium-Term Management Plan, "GOOD FOODS Recipe2," starting in FY2025. This plan focuses on "Enhancement of value chain resilience" and promotes agile, materiality-based initiatives.
"Enhancement of value chain resilience" means strengthening "Value creation capability", "Sustainability", "Risk response capabilities", and "Human Capital." To realize this, we are implementing three basic strategies as the main pillars: "Strengthen business portfolio", "Deepen sustainability management", and "Strengthen governance."
We comprehensively evaluate our businesses based on ROIC spread, growth potential, and affinity with the Nissui Group's mission, and aim to strengthen our business portfolio through optimal resource allocation and strategic execution. We are also actively promoting asset-light management by selling cross-shareholdings and other assets. We will allocate the generated cash in a balanced manner toward growth investment, financial soundness, and shareholder returns.
By leveraging the strengths we have built over more than 110 years—access to marine resources, R&D capabilities, production technologies, quality assurance, and our global value chain—we will continue to take on the challenge of creating new value.
